From their door to your hands

    Pick a host near you

    Hosts are neighbors with a verified ID and address. You see them sorted by walking distance, with their hours and their guarantee.

  2. Step 2

    Ship to their address

    You get a ship-to address with your own code on it, like c/o PQ-7K2M. Paste it into Amazon, Target or any store. Any carrier works.

  3. Step 3

    Get a text when it lands

    Your host photographs the label and where they’ve stored it. You get the photo and their pickup hours.

  4. Step 4

    Pick it up with your code

    Show the 6-digit pickup code in your app. Your host hands over the package and you both get a confirmation.

The money comes from the host’s own reserve, built from their earnings and held by PackageQuest. We only show the amount that’s actually backed.

How a claim plays out

  1. Maria logs your package with a photo on Monday. By next Tuesday it still hasn’t been handed to you.
  2. You open a claim and attach your order confirmation.
  3. Maria has 48 hours to share her photos and handoff record.
  4. We review both sides and pay you up to $250 from Maria’s reserve.

A host with 8 regular neighbors typically handles around 50 packages a month. At $3.75 per package after fees, that’s about $150–$260 a month. It’s an estimate, not a promise, and it grows with your neighborhood.

Questions

What happens if my package goes missing at a host’s?

If a package is logged as delivered to your host and never reaches you, file a claim with your order confirmation. Your host has 48 hours to respond, we review the photos and handoff record, and you’re paid up to the host’s guarantee from their reserve.

Who are the hosts?

Neighbors who are home during the day, plus small shops like cafés, laundromats and tailors. Every host verifies their government ID and home address, and in our first neighborhoods we meet each one in person before they go live.

Where does the guarantee money come from?

From the host. Part of every host’s earnings goes into a reserve until it reaches the amount they’ve promised, and hosts can add to it directly. Profiles only show the amount that’s actually backed.

Will my host see what’s inside?

No. Packages stay sealed. Hosts see the outside of the box and the shipping label, the same as a carrier does.

Is there anything I can’t send to a host?

Yes: firearms, hazardous materials, perishables, cash, controlled substances, live animals, and anything that needs an adult signature unless your host agrees to it. Hosts can also decline any package.

How is this different from a locker or an access point?

Lockers and access points only take some carriers, cap package size, are often a drive away, and pay you nothing if something goes wrong. A host takes any carrier and most sizes, is a short walk away, and stands behind every handoff with their own money.

When am I charged?

On the per-package plan, you’re charged $5 when your host logs the package as received. The monthly plan is $19 for unlimited packages. Your first month is free in our launch neighborhoods.
